Freeze-dried production

TIANQIN started freeze-dried production in 2022. The range includes fruits and vegetables, with confirmed fruit formats available to explore in the product catalogue.

As a general process, freeze-drying removes frozen water as vapour under vacuum. Product preparation and drying conditions depend on the material and the required result.

Air-dried ingredients

The company began with air-dried foods in 1997. Today, the Air-Dried Ingredients range includes garlic flakes, ginger slices and horseradish flakes. Discuss the product and process information relevant to your purchase with our team.

Raw-material preparation for the identified ingredient

Start with the raw material and intended use.

A whole berry, a fruit slice and a leafy vegetable call for different product discussions. Tell us the presentation your recipe needs so we can clarify the preparation and specification for the selected ingredient.

Discuss any requirements for shape, appearance and handling before sample evaluation. Preparation details should be agreed for the individual product, rather than assumed to be identical across the range.

Manual selection and product appearance inspection

From appearance to the right format.

Whole Fruits, Slices, Dices and Powder are available across the freeze-dried fruit range. Availability varies by fruit: the catalogue identifies the confirmed formats for each product.

Use a sample to discuss the appearance and piece size your application needs. Ask about the selection and format-processing steps relevant to that product, including any cutting, screening or milling requirements.

For vegetables, contact our team to discuss the presentation and specification your application needs.

Make the specification part of the conversation.

Tell us which product information and quality documents your purchasing process requires. Our team can discuss the documents available for the ingredient you are considering and clarify the specification before you proceed.

Actual sorting, checking or packing work

Review the evidence for your ingredient.

Bring your quality requirements into the product discussion. Confirm which checks, records and supporting documents apply to the selected ingredient and order.

Raw-material checks

Identify the raw-material information and acceptance requirements your purchasing review needs.

Process checks

Discuss the processing stages and relevant inspection records for the chosen product.

Finished product & batch records

Ask for the available product specification and clarify any batch-related document requirements.

Internal & third-party evidence

Internal inspection records and external test reports serve different purposes. Discuss test scope and report availability separately; requirements should be agreed for the order.

Actual inner bags, cartons, labels or shipment preparation

Agree the pack and shipment details.

Share your preferred pack size, handling needs and label information. Review the packaging arrangement for your product and order rather than assuming a single pack standard for the whole range.

Discuss carton markings, any pallet requirements and the documents needed for shipment preparation with the export team.
